We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and highly organized Front Desk Reception Professionals to join our fast-paced, patient-centered Obstetrics & Gynecology practice. As the first point of contact, this role plays a critical part in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment for every patient who walks through our doors.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a warm and compassionate approach. Fluency in English is required, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to effectively support and serve our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive and professional experience
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars for multiple providers
• Support with managing insurance, benefits and eligibility
• Answer incoming calls and route messages appropriately
• Check patients in and out, verify insurance, collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering calls, scanning, faxing, and data entry
• Communicate effectively with patients and collaborate with the team
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills at all times
• Adhere to HIPAA laws regarding the sharing of personal medical information
• Perform additional duties as needed to support office operations

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• 1+ year experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• 1+ year of customer service experience
• Bilingual in English & Spanish (required)
• Team-oriented attitude and a commitment to supporting colleagues and patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Athena EMR
• Previous medical office or front desk experience
• Experience with insurance, benefits and eligibility

Our Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialty service provides advanced, high‑risk obstetrical care with a focus on respect, clinical excellence, and individualized support.

We are seeking a skilled, empathetic, bilingual Medical Assistant to support our Maternal Fetal Medicine provider(s) in a small, specialty practice setting (1–2 providers). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting patients experiencing complex or high‑risk pregnancies.

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant in our MFM department, you will play a key role in patient intake, coordination, clinical support, and ensuring a positive, reassuring patient experience. Patients seen in MFM often require additional time, compassion, and clarity — and this role is vital in delivering that level of care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Support

• Conduct patient intake, including vitals, medical/obstetric history, medication lists, and allergies, documenting accurately in Athena EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms for MFM consultations, high‑risk obstetrical evaluations, fetal monitoring, and ultrasound‑based visits.
• Assist providers during MFM‑specific visits such as:
  • High‑risk prenatal evaluations
  • Diabetes, hypertension, or other medical complication consults
  • Genetic counseling support sessions
• Assist in obtaining fetal heart tones (as directed), support ultrasound workflows, and coordinate diagnostic testing.
• Collect and process urine, blood, and culture specimens following safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain sterile instruments, prepare procedure trays, and support efficient exam room turnover.
• Ensure accurate, compliant chart documentation and contribute to seamless patient flow.

Exceptional Patient Experience

• Provide warm, respectful, and empathetic care to patients navigating high‑risk pregnancies.
• Support patient comfort during sensitive or stressful appointments and communicate instructions clearly.
• Ensure proper PPE use and uphold strict infection-control standards.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with clinical and front‑office staff to support efficient scheduling and workflow for a small MFM provider team.
• Support coordination with referring OB/GYN practices and specialists.
• Assist with special projects or evolving clinical needs.
• Provide coverage at other practice locations as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Certification or experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in women’s health or MFM/OB.
• Skilled in phlebotomy, specimen handling, NST administration, and sterile technique; adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Experience with Athena EMR.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centered approach.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in an OB/GYN, MFM, or women’s health specialty setting.
• One year of experience using Athena EMR.

Job Summary

The Medical Insurance Credentialing Lead will play a foundational role in designing, launching, and leading the organization’s new credentialing and payer enrollment function. This individual will serve as the subject-matter expert for all credentialing operations, responsible for building workflows, managing payer enrollments, ensuring compliance, and developing a scalable service offering.

In addition to performing hands-on credentialing work, this role will establish processes, tools, and quality standards and will hire and oversee a Credentialing Assistant as volume grows. The ideal candidate has deep credentialing expertise, enjoys building programs from the ground up, and is comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Service Line Development

• Design and implement the organization’s credentialing and re-credentialing program from the ground up
• Develop credentialing workflows, tracking tools, turnaround standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Partner with leadership to support the launch of credentialing as a formal internal and external service offering
• Establish scalable processes to support future growth, new practices, and expanded service demand

Credentialing & Enrollment Operations

• Manage the full lifecycle of provider credentialing and re-credentialing for physicians and advanced practice providers
• Prepare, submit, track, and follow up on enrollment applications with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant provider credentialing files, including licenses, certifications, malpractice insurance, and payer documentation
• Ensure timely updates and attestations in CAQH ProView, PECOS, NPPES, and payer-specific portals
• Track credentialing timelines, expirations, and renewals to prevent billing delays or network participation gaps

Leadership & Oversight

• Serve as the primary credentialing resource and escalation point for internal teams and external physician partners
• Hire, train, and supervise a Credentialing Assistant as volume increases
• Perform quality checks and internal audits to ensure adherence to payer requirements, NCQA standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Create reporting and metrics related to credentialing turnaround times, payer approval rates, and revenue impact

Revenue Cycle & Compliance Collaboration

• Work closely with billing and RCM teams to ensure credentialing status aligns seamlessly with claims workflows
• Support new provider onboarding, practice start-ups, expansions, and network participation optimization
• Monitor payer policy changes and Florida-specific regulatory updates, recommending and implementing process improvements
• Contribute credentialing expertise to overall revenue optimization and compliance initiatives

Qualifications & Preferences

Required

• 4+ years of progressive medical insurance credentialing experience
• Demonstrated success managing Medicare, Medicaid, and major commercial payer enrollments
• Strong working knowledge of CAQH ProView, PECOS, NPPES, and payer enrollment platforms
• Experience managing multiple providers and practices concurrently
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with payers, providers, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of building new operational functions

Preferred

• Experience within an RCM, MSO, or multi-practice physician organization
• Prior experience launching or formalizing credentialing workflows or programs
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
• CPCS or CPMSM certification strongly preferred
• Prior experience training or supervising credentialing staff
• Knowledge of Florida healthcare and payer regulations
